The Family Programme | Summer & Easter Camps
The Family Programme
The family programme can be designed to meet the needs of all ages and abilities. Children can be enrolled for as many or as few hours of tuition as parents require. There is an emphasis on learning through play and activities which stimulates language learning. Children can also participate in all the activities that are available from Heatherhill cottages in the afternoons; Irish music and dance, hillwalking, a range of adventure activities including surfing, kayaking, body-boarding, and hillwalking, and horse-riding.
Parents can also enrol in a programme of study and activities.
All study programmes can be continued from home through the internet-link option which re-inforces and continues learning that has taken place in Letterfrack.
The houses at Heatherhill provide ideal accommodation for families. The houses are large and very comfortable with 5 bedrooms, large kitchen/dining area and sitting room as well as two bathrooms and a study room. All houses have large gardens .
Children can play with other students, who are staying at Heatherhill in the afternoons and evenings. There is alot of space in Heatherhill dedicated to relaxing and playing with barbecue and seating areas as well as childrens play areas and go-karts available to the children staying at Heatherhill. It is a common sight to see children (and sometimes parents) playing soccer on the lawns in Heatherhill.
Parents do not have to worry about bringing their children to classes as the accommodation and classes are usually held on the same site within the Heatherhill complex. Sometimes lessons are held at the Furniture College in Letterfrack which is a third level college a few minutes walk from Heatherhill Cottages.
All courses are very competitively priced.
